I built a lamp mount from a Tested.com one-day build project [->here<-](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL3uZ88vA_0). The mount appears to be very sturdy, but I will definitely update this post if any issues arise during use. This is what I got: - A 1/2 inch deep female NPT thread - A 4mm trench for power cable on one side - Four screw mounting holes designed to accept #8 wood screws that should sit flush with the surface
