If you've got hands as clumsy as mine, you'll adore this toolset. These simple devices allow you to effortlessly hold a nut in place on your benchtop by pressing the holder onto it. With the nut securely fastened, you can position it perfectly next to the bolt where your fingers can't quite reach. Printer Settings: Printer: LymanBot 3D Printer V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: I use a .5 nozzle, slow speed, and infill at 30% for optimal results. Post-Printing Results: The pictures show that 3mm and 4mm lock nuts fit snugly onto the holders. To get them in place, simply heat the 4mm nut for 10 seconds and push it into the holder. For the 3mm nut, heat it for 8 seconds before pushing it into its designated spot. Using cold nuts allows you to shape the tool so that the nuts fit securely. The set includes four holders: two flat ones designed for 3 & 4mm nuts and two combo holders for both sizes at right angles to each other. With the combo holder, you can easily turn the nut onto the bolt; however, with the flat ones, you need to be able to turn the bolt to attach it. I've tried using Finger Nut Holders before without success, but this toolset works flawlessly. Design Process: These tools were designed using AutoCad 3D modeling software.
