This design is engineered specifically for safely transporting rc airplanes in the back of my van, as well as neatly hanging them up in the garage. Constructed from 3/4 pvc pipe and sturdy wall mount shelf rails purchased at Menards, this setup provides a reliable and organized solution. The critical components require printing with supports, but a raft is not necessary. I opted for ABS and PETG for my final prints, having successfully utilized PLA for the prototypes - unfortunately, these eventually succumbed to wear over time. Notably, the more infill used appears to result in a stronger structure, which is why I chose 80% infill. Enjoy printing, and feel free to remix and share this design!
