3/4" Conduit Polishing Jig
thingiverse
Small polishing jig for use with 3/4" electrical conduit and a hand drill to polish the tubing with a scouring pad. Apologies for the incorrect orientation. Designed with the MPCNC in mind, I'm building one and my local conduit is far from pretty. I'm sure it would smooth out in time but figured I'd do this anyways. I don't recommend using sandpaper, it will probably take too much off. Stick the bolt through the small cone, putting the square in its slot to prevent rotation. Slide the outer ring over, then put the washer and nut on. Chuck it up on the drill, tighten it up enough to grab onto the conduit and polish away. No need to crank it down too hard or it will be tough to get back out. If it gets stuck try knocking it a bit to break it loose. BOM: 1/4-20 UNC or similar carriage bolt at least 1.5" long Matching bolt and washer Both printed parts Print Settings Notes: Print settings shouldn't matter too much. I used PETG with a .8 nozzle at .4 layer heights, but almost anything should work. Edit: I shouldn't say anything will work without trying it, something that can flex a bit helps.
