Robust live centers (and others) have ¾"-10 TPI threads for accessories. This adapter lets you put a 1.25"-8 TPI chuck onto this live center. This can be useful for centering or for reverse mounting on some clean-up operations when you don't want to take the piece from the chuck. Recommend using at least 3-4 perimeters for strength.
