A redesigned venturi I have created as an alternative to the original 3DPONICS 2 air intake conduit outperforms in my tests when it comes to water flow efficiency, using only one air inlet while freeing up another air outlet from the pump for extra flexibility in setup. By measuring both units, I can confirm that this new venturi is capable of drawing about 10% to 20% more water in an 8 ft column than its predecessor. I do not declare either design perfect, but they offer opportunities for improvement. I plan to enhance the wall thickness so that additional infill material can be added to minimize porous areas and lengthen the design by increasing the diameter of the inlet hole to accommodate greater water intake. Protecting both units with a sealant such as hot wax or shrink wrap would ensure an air-tight seal, preventing unwanted airflow escapes. I invite you to test this unit out and provide your thoughts.
