I Constructed a 3/16" barb to 1/2" NPT Fitting. Since I couldn't locate this specific part at my local hardware store, I built my own version. It performs optimally when manufactured without supports and then thoroughly cleaned with a 1/16" bit from the 1/2" fitting side. To assemble it, I attached a 1/2" female connector purchased from the store along with a 3/16" ID tubing that didn't leak at all.
