This is another product of my ongoing collaboration with Halstead In Bloom, focusing this time on their various Christmas sales. They required a display stand for their new Christmas cards (all created by local artists and looking fantastic) but there's always the issue with hauling boxes upon boxes of merchandise around. They needed a display stand that was lightweight, compact, and didn't take up much space in the containers.... so once again, 3D printing came to the rescue. This stand consists of two halves which are connected by articulated arms allowing them to be folded into a compact form for travel and storage. The bases also have a tab and a ring at opposite ends so they can be linked together front to back, and so when one is opened they'll all open simultaneously. The stand would also be useful for tradeshows, business displays, and even for holding lightweight items like 7-inch records.
