$3.00Armadillo Cactus - prehistoric jungle plants
myminifactory
These unusual beauties were inspired by real life prehistoric plants called Lophophytum. They are members of the Balanophoraceae family which can still be found in South America. They are actually parasites rather than normal, photosythesizing plants. Swirling patterns of succulent petals circle around stout limbs. These don't actually look like any reference image I found but the patterns and themese are similar. These are one of my favorite printable creations to date. I just love the shapes, patterns, and poses. I even have framed prints of the 3D renders hangin on my walls. :) Three variations with supported versions included. You can print these very large before you start running out of detail.
