3.0 Cut Out Holder
thingiverse
My newly updated 3.0 edition of "2.0 Cut Out Holder" is a revamped preschooler game and upgraded case for my previous Cut Outs. I've made significant changes to address issues with my original version, the 2.0 model, which unfortunately didn't work as intended. This new release rectifies all bugs in that design and offers several key improvements. In particular, I moved the handle from the cover to the body of the holder to prevent it from opening while on-the-go. **Assembly Instructions** To assemble this updated version, apply a single drop of super-glue to the closed-in hole located on the body. Next, position the cover where it normally sits but flip it all the way back, then slide in the axle. Allow time for it to dry completely. **Printing Settings** * Printer: Da Vinci Jr. 1.0 * Rafts: None required * Supports: Not essential * Resolution: .3mm * Infill: 10% Important Note: I highly recommend printing the cover with supports in place. **Design Process** Building on my previous design, version 2.0, I recreated the axis holders using an extrude and relocated the handle from the cover to its new home at the base of the holder.
