Here's a clever way to stabilize your workbench: simply press-fit an end cap onto the end of a standard 2x4 stud. I'm utilizing them as leveling feet, and they're working beautifully for me. If you'd like to adjust the design or add some extra height, I've included the Fusion360 file for your convenience.
