I wanted to try creating something from the ground up, so I decided to build a 3D model of a stone floor without using anyone else's work as a starting point. There are already many stone floor pieces available online, and my creation doesn't particularly stand out, but I learned a lot while building it, so that was worth the effort. Update: I made some changes to the model to fix its flaws, and it did improve how it looks and prints, but now the mesh is in bad shape. I'm not sure exactly where I went wrong with my edits, but I think it was in multiple places. If I decide to create another stone floor model, I'll have to start over from scratch.
