2x - Filament guide to avoid Jamming with non standard spool size
thingiverse
As of October 2013, an updated version of the filament guide has been introduced with different designs and images for enhanced adhesion. This new version is easier to attach and offers improved guidance of filaments. The user-friendly design allows you to print two identical elements, one for each side. However, the simpler original design remains available. It is highly recommended to opt for the latest version as it has proven to be flawless since its installation. Previously, users faced issues with certain spools and their filament getting off track and becoming entangled at the back of the makerbot, causing print disruptions. The new filament guide resolves this issue by ensuring that the filament is taken from the center of the spool, preventing jamming. To install, simply print the guide and place it 3cm down the entrance of the white filament tube at the rear of your replicator. Ensure that the smaller side faces upwards while the larger side faces downwards. There are right and left versions to minimize strain on the filament. Position one guide under each entry point for optimal results.
