2wd Slash, Rustler, Stampede 30mm Motor Fan Mount

Originally designed for installing a Wild Turbo Fan on a 2-wheel-drive Slash, this motor fan mount should fit any standard 30-millimeter fan without a problem. This product attaches to the gearbox by removing the top two screws from the exploded view and attaching the fan mount in their place. To secure the fan mount, replace the original screws with three twenty-five millimeter button head screws, similar to Traxxas #2581, since the mounting wall is two millimeters thick and the original screws are only 23 millimeters long. If you don't have any other screws available, reusing the original 23-millimeter screws will work in a pinch. Designed for a 2-wheel-drive Slash (shown in an image), this product will also fit the 2-wheel-drive Stampede, Rustler, and Bandit models. The fan is angled at thirty degrees. You'll need two or four three-by-fifteen millimeter button head screws, such as Traxxas #2579, or three sixteen-millimeter button head screws, along with M3 nylock nuts to secure the fan to the mount. Using only two screws, placed in opposite corners of the fan, works just fine.
