I wanted a simple, affordable and quick-to-build two-wheel-drive chassis that could accommodate a Skyline bodyshell, which is currently in production. Since I had some old Kyosho parts lying around and steel electrical conduit at my disposal, I decided to throw this together. Fortunately, it turned out great and the steering, despite being uncomplicated, is extremely responsive and accurate. I'm really pleased with the final performance, and it may even be converted into a four-wheel-drive setup in the future, as additional power output can be directed to the front axle if needed. There are a few modified parts from my 1/10 electric-powered touring car incorporated into the front end of this chassis, but I would have preferred to use that design instead. However, I had too many purchased components on hand to make it feasible. I hope this information is useful to others. The handling characteristics were quite amusing when the chassis was at its original length, but after shortening it, it's now an overpowered drift machine thanks to a 21-gram motor and 540 gearing.
