I made several modifications to the Original PRUSA designed Face Shield to enhance comfort and durability. They include: * I split and tapered the forehead contact band - this improves comfort over a longer period as the "wings" will bend and more conform to the wearer's forehead. * I extended the temple rails further back to "hug" the sides of the head more - facilitating more lateral stability. * I added small lateral connection supports between the ends of the front outer band and the forehead band. This resists any torsional motion during head movement. * I created loops at the end of the rails for a more comfortable transition away from the head when holding the retention strap (I recommend latex tubing 15" long for strapping material 3/16" outside diameter with a 1/16" inner diameter). * This version of the original PRUSA design is intended to work with 8.5" x 11" transparent "Binding Covers", 7-10 mils in thickness. I punched (4) holes in the covers, 1" down from the top. I measured from both sides of the center line of the cover (at 4.25") - 1 3/16" and then from center again 3 3/4". Then, with a 1/4" hole punch, I punched holes in the cover using these marks as the center point of the punched out hole. * I feel free to use rubber bands to add a bit more holding security to the top of the binding cover by stretching them around the small tabs protruding through the transparent cover from side to side.
