2nd stage custom door wedge for cage

So I started designing this thing over on my Facebook page, where I uploaded pictures of the measurements and sketches I did of what I wanted it to look like. I began by measuring the size of the cage door and how far it stuck out once it was fully extended and level, then I measured the side of the cage from the bottom of the door to the bottommost part of the bars where they met the plastic base of the cage. Next, I headed over to 123D Design and created some basic shapes that matched my design and measurements as closely as possible. Once I was done, it was on to the 3D printer to see how it turned out. This wedge is designed for a 77 x 47 x 58 cm large cage that's perfect for my two rats, with bar spacing of 1cm and a door on the side that's 19cm tall and 18cm wide. I'll be uploading three different stages of this make, each one customizable for scaling and design to fit your space.
