2nd Generation Supplement carrier
thingiverse
I had to refill my supply of new supplements, so a redesign was essential. To achieve this, I reduced the thickness of the walls, resulting in a more compact overall design. Inside, I added ridges to keep the capsules upright as they're inserted, which was necessary because they tend to fall over and require alignment for both sets to fit properly. I also designed an extension for carrying two tablets, which can be used with or without the capsule container. The extension snaps onto the container in place of the lid, allowing the lid to close either the container or the extension securely. The entire design was printed using t-glase, a food-grade filament. One side features a flat surface, ideal for printing on a standard print bed. Printer Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 (MakerFarm) Print Options: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm layers Infill: 50% Post-Printing Adjustments: Some cleaning and removal of print artifacts will likely be necessary to achieve the desired finish. I used a small file to smooth out the interior, particularly around the bridging at the top (of the print), to ensure the capsules can drop in and out without getting stuck. Additional adjustments may be required to get the parts to slide smoothly, possibly involving repeated opening and closing until they fit snugly together.
