For everyone who fell in love with the first complete Pokémon chess set, I'm thrilled to announce a brand new version specifically designed for the Gen2 Pokémon from Gold and Silver that have just been released into Pokémon Go. Huge thanks to all those talented individuals who created models that contributed to these incredible pieces. King - Lugia, Legendary Bird Queen - Ho-Oh, Legendary Bird Bishop - Chikorita, Grass Starter Knight - Cyndaquil, Fire Starter Rook - Totodile, Water Starter Pawn - Togepi, First Baby Pokémon to Hatch from an Egg Pawn - Hoothoot, Common Bird (similar to Pidgey) Traditionally Only Comes Out at Night Pawn - GS Ball You can choose between Togepi or Hoothoot for your pawns, or have one on each side for a nice balance of light versus dark. Alternatively, you can opt for the classic GS ball, which commemorates the Gold and Silver Pokémon games in the 2nd generation. All pieces should print well without support, except for the King and Queen, which will definitely require some support. I may also adjust one or both to reduce or redirect their wingspan for comfortable play.
