2nd Filament holder for Ender 5 S1
thingiverse
I had the need to easily have 2 different color filaments sent up to the hot end of my 5 S1, and unwinding each color out of the main bowden tube was becoming a pain in the neck. This bolts to the side of the ender 5 s1 just under the OE filament detector, and a 2nd bowden tube connects to the top and filament is fed from the bottom. I made the bottom filament hole funnel shaped so it easily feeds right in to the bowden tube. This of course is not a filament sensor so that feature wont work (I find it fairly useless anyway) but as long as the filament is in the OE sensor everything should be fine. There are clips on the back to auto locate this on the rail and for the screw holes to line up. You will need a couple of small nuts and bolts. You will notice in the photo that it clips right in and Im not even using a nut and bolt but will at some point. Shoot me a message with any questions. You will need a length of tube like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CUPV90M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Push it in to the top of the block, and run it in parallel with the OE tube. Also check out my other design to hold a second spool of filament next to the original.
