This low poly 2N3055 transistor model is built using Maya 7, featuring clean topology with predominantly quads, no N-gons. It's UV mapped and unwrapped with overlapping. The rendering was done with V-ray (version 1.5) in 3ds Max, including the render scene. The material used is a basic Blinn type with Layered Textures node, all found in the Maya file. The model comes in multiple formats: Maya 7 (.ma, .mb), OBJ (.obj with .mtl), 3ds Max 2009 (.max), and Autodesk FBX (.fbx). The FBX and OBJ files are directly exported from Maya. It has a total of 762 quads/1456 triangles, with 732 vertices. An additional perk is the inclusion of textures in the 2N3055_textures.zip file: a 2048x2048 .tiff and .jpg opacity (transparent) map for labeling purposes and two more maps, also in the same resolution and formats, for diffuse coloring - although the latter was not used in the render scene.
