If you detest flies with a passion equal to mine and desperately require a large digester container, then this item might be the perfect solution for fellow Australians like us. I plan on utilizing it to collect flies and feed them to my four chickens. Chicken feed could potentially become the next "panic buy" during this pandemic - who knows? How it was designed: First of all, I needed a lid, but being lazy, I didn't want to create one from scratch. So, I found one that I liked and resized it, thanks to MortenGuldager for the threaded cap. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2920911 This was a straightforward design process in Tinkercad - I shrunk the cap to an opening of 38mm, created a cone-shaped funnel, duplicated it using CTRL+D, and then dropped it down 3mm below the work-plane before making it a "hole". Next, I designed a cylindrical object with a hole and sliced off the pointed end of the cone - and that was it! I've printed it out and it fits my 2L milk bottles as well as the Woolies pancake shaker bottle. These flies won't know what hit them once they visit my house!
