2K12 Kub (SA6)
thingiverse
The SA6 surface-to-air missile employed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War era is featured in this model, with its intricate details requiring precision printing. Unfortunately, my printer jammed prematurely at 90% completion, halting production and necessitating a reevaluation of resources. To avoid wasting the precious plastic material, I cleverly decided to focus on the missing part that had not been printed, create a new model with just that section, and subsequently glue it seamlessly into place. Once finished, the model should appear vastly improved compared to its original state. Photos of the completed and beautifully painted SA6 will be attached once they become available. **Print Settings** Printer Manufacturer: Printrbot Printer Model: Simple Black Infill Density: 15% filled layers Layer Height: 0.3 mm Total Printing Time: Approximately 4 hours, executed efficiently by my reliable Printrbot Simple printer. **Notes for Removal and Finishing** Remove the finished print from its bed carefully once it has cooled down. Utilize sharp scissors to detach any support structures and excess material from the base of the model. The final result should exhibit excellent structural integrity and smooth finish, showcasing a high-quality replica of the SA6 surface-to-air missile.
