This OpenSCAD script generates two-dimensional springs for the XY plane or (less ideally) Z axis. The springs are sturdy and can be customized by altering their thickness and spring constant. To make them stronger, increase the radius of inner/outer circles or change the arc angle. Printing a single plastic filament may cause errors due to extruder issues and shrinkage; thus, two-layer thick springs are recommended for reliability.
