29mm nose cone
thingiverse
A simple nose cone for a 29mm blue tube can be created using the preferred version, named nosecone.stl, which has a looser fit that allows for a perfect attachment with masking tape or shear pins. To print this design, use a fine layer height and skip the raft as it is likely not necessary. After printing, use sandpaper to smooth out the inner edge of the coupler section, creating a more aerodynamic shape. Next, add weight to the nose cone using epoxy and lead or steel, which will provide the proper mass for stable flight. To attach a recovery harness, create an attachment point with 6 inches of kevlar cord and tie an overhand knot in the middle. Then, superglue the two ends into the nosecone. Finally, add two-part expanding foam to fill any remaining voids in the nose cone and secure the kevlar cord in place.
