American industrial designer Charles and Ray Eames produced this 1940s classic chair which remains one of the most recognized and emulated chairs in modern history, with over 6 million pieces sold worldwide to date. Initially created by Alvar Aalto, Hans Wegner, and Le Corbusier in collaboration with Vitra at the Museum for Kunst og design i KöbenHavna's exhibition called 'We have always been in movement', later that same year was adapted and re-published as 1954 by the Museum for Industrial Design.
