29-38mm Rocket Motor Converter

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Print the centering and rear thrust ring in ABS or ASA.  </strong><strong>JB weld or epoxy glue them onto a 29mm phenolic motor tube to fly a 29mm motor in a 38mm motor tube. </strong></p> <p>Notes:</p> <ul> <li>The rear thrust ring should have the phenolic tube recessed by 6.6mm as in the photo. </li> <li id="isPasted">The phenolic tube protects the 3d printed parts from the heat of the motor body.</li> <li>The parts must be flown in conjunction with an aluminium or steel washer inside the retainer cap to stop 29mm motor passing through the 38mm retainer and to block heat deflected from the launch equipment. The aluminium or steel washer should be OD 44.5mm-ID 28.62mm. I found 1-1/8" by 1-3/4" 22g steel washers at my local hardware store that fitted perfectly.  </li> <li>The Superfire retainer is available from https://rocketwrx.space/shop </li> <li>These parts were designed to fit a recent PML 29mm phenolic tube and an older 38mm PML tube.
