28mm Scale 3d Printable Coracle

This is a simple 28mm scale coracle, perfectly suited for use in RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder, as well as historical tabletop wargaming scenarios. Coracles were small boats, often of Celtic origin, constructed from hide stretched over a lightweight framework of laths and wickerwork - they can still be spotted occasionally in Wales. These vessels are so light that one person can easily carry them. This item includes four files: two versions of the coracle itself, one waterline and one complete, both designed to sit on a tabletop with a figure inside, but the complete one will wobble slightly more. The complete version is also useful as general scenery for Celtic-type villages, stacked up outside a hut or piled up by the waters' edge. The waterline version is very thin at the bottom, but this won't be noticeable once it's on the table. The coracle bench can be glued in place - I find it easiest to paint the hull and bench separately before gluing the bench into position. A paddle is also included. For best results, print the bench and coracle hulls in an upright orientation with a brim and supports touching the buildplate. This will minimize the amount of support material needed and ensure the best possible detail. I printed at 0.8mm layer height and a fairly slow speed on my Ender 3. The figure in the photo is not included, but it gives an idea of scale; it's actually one of Dutchmogul's excellent Tavern patrons, looking suitably glum to be a fisherman.
