28mm Quad Anti-Air Turret
thingiverse
This is a 28mm scale quad Anti-Air Turret designed for use with current 40k sized models, my stand alone turret base (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1433038), and future planned buildings. It features two distinct body styles depending on the printout variety you choose. The assembly process is straightforward and printing is easy. Print Settings Rafts: None are required. Supports: Not necessary. Resolution: Use a resolution of .15 to .2 for best results. Infill: Set infill between 15% to 20%. Notes: For optimal performance, increase the resolution on the sensor dish while using lower resolutions elsewhere. You can either print the upper and lower body with the sensor dish or opt for the upper and lower body mk2. Post-Printing Assembly Sand down parts as needed before gluing together gun mounts. Apply epoxy to fill gaps, then sand once more. Dry fit the upper and lower bodies along with gun mounts, file if necessary to ensure a proper fit, and glue the bodies in place with the gun mount securely positioned within its designated hole. Be cautious not to get glue on the gun mount unless you want it locked in one position. Once again use epoxy or green stuff to fill gaps and sand as needed. If you're using the standard body style, attach the sensor dish to the top of the turret.
