Going to make an even more interlocking version for later use, possibly with a 1/4 inch thread rod. Took some liberties with the design for v2. Still waiting to see if it works out as planned. Will post pictures soon. Needed to drill new holes in the stepper motor mount for the 1/8 x 3/4 inch bolts, where the stepper motor round hole insert required a quick filing or trimming along the top and bottom to fit snugly. With the new gear, it moves pretty smoothly, but I had to file down the printed side because the first layer usually comes out thicker. Might add some more mounting holes on the motor mount for extra attachments. Also, be careful - these motors can get too hot with continuous use and potentially melt. I'm thinking of trying to create a conduction duct to pull in more cool air faster. Some say using 120mA will keep temperatures down. Maybe there's a temperature difference between the 5 and 12 volt versions of these steppers. https://github.com/tecan/Arduino-Projects/blob/master/un2003-stepper-multiaxis/un2003-stepper-multiaxis.ino
