28BYJ-48 Syringe Pump / Paste Extruder

I have had this stepper motor lying around my house for some time, unsure about what to do with it until I decided to create a syringe pump, which I prefer to call, to utilize with solder paste. Since I wasn't aware of how to achieve an even flow of the paste, I designed this little tool. It works by utilizing a stepper motor, which moves back and forth, pushing the air out of the syringe and into another syringe equipped with two tact switches - forward and backward - to activate the motor. I may not be explaining myself clearly, but I'll post updates and new information as I go along. All comments are greatly appreciated. I downloaded a replacement, but it caused problems with various software packages. I repaired the mount and uploaded the corrected version. Bill of materials: - 2 x 3 mm smooth rods (136 mm long each) - 1 x 3 mm threaded rod (136 mm long) - 1 x 28BYJ-48 Stepper Motor (I am using a 5V one) - 1 x set of plastic parts - 1 x 5 cc Syringe OPTIONAL: A table to place the pump on so it doesn't move.
