28BYJ-48_Stepper Extruder and Effector for Delta Printer
thingiverse
We made it possible to use lightweight extruders and delta effectors in various combinations with the 28BYJ-48 Stepper. The LJ12A3-4-Z/BX Inductive Proximity Sensor Switch is easy to install due to its mountable design. To connect the LJ12A3-4-Z/BX, follow these steps for Ramps1.4: https://www.flickr.com/photos/kikuon_photo/33461182736/ When using 28BYJ48 with Ramps1.4, you need to switch from unipolar to bipolar connection. Remove the light blue cover and cut the board's center. You can find an example of this process here: http://www.jangeox.be/2013/10/change-unipolar-28byj-48-to-bipolar.html Becoming bipolar allows for problem-free operation with the A4988 driver, though fan cooling is still necessary. We use a 25mm square fan. Be aware that if you have an incorrectly placed body in your file, it may interfere with your arm, so ignore it. This fan serves both as air cooling and cooling of the hot end of the print object. Our magnets are 12mm x 4mm. It's unclear whether they can be strengthened, but you can stack Daiso's 6mm magnets if needed. To make modifications easier, we've added a 123D source: 123d_source.zip If there seems to be any lack of explanation in this guide, please feel free to inquire, and we'll do our best to assist.
