The 1950s saw a rifle cartridge proposal by Britain and Canada to NATO, which was briefly adopted by the former with the EM2 Rifle. However, America opted for the 7.62x51 instead. Now, this British-Canadian round is an obscure collectible item. Its long-range ballistics surpass those of the 7.62x51 due to the bullet's efficient aerodynamics (140 grain, 7mm). Despite efforts by American designers to enhance M16 frames, they haven't improved on this vintage round. Here, I will detail its components.
