280 racing drone frame for small printers
thingiverse
Quick project I made on Tinkercad. The main problem I was facing when searching for a small drone frame was finding one that would fit my tiny printer with an 8-inch by 8-inch build space. Due to this issue, I was forced to design my own. To make the frame: 16 #20 M3 screws, 16 M3 nuts, 8 30mm struts to hold the top section, 6 #10 M3 screws, 2 45mm M3 screws, To assemble the frame, Clamp the two center bars between 2 Center plates using 4 M3 nuts and bolts. Then clamp the arms between 4 end plates and then secure these to the protruding parts of the center bar using small M3 screws. Next screw the 8 struts onto the base plate and then the top covers onto the other ends of these struts. The next part is optional but I screwed the flight controller holder onto the front to house the receiver and flight controller. To make the electronics: 4 2300kv motors, 4 ESC's corresponding to the motors, A power distribution cable/board, 4 6x4.5 propellers, Receiver and transmitter, 2200mah 11.1v LiPo battery, Flight controller, I used a KK2.1.5 board
