28 tooth crown gear - 3/32 axle

This is a two-part, 28-tooth crown gear designed for use with 3/32 axle slot cars. To achieve accurate mesh results, you'll need to experiment with the slice settings. I personally utilize Simplify 3D with two separate processes - one for the base and another for the teeth. The crown gear's teeth are depicted as pointed in this design, but the slicer software will inevitably round off the peaks during the printing process. To assemble the model, start by pressing the crown center through the crown itself, then apply glue to secure it in place. Next, attach the gear to the axle using an M2 grub screw. Printing Settings: Rafts: Disabled Supports: Disabled Resolution: * For the base, a resolution of 0.2mm up to 1.5mm is recommended. * For the teeth, a more precise resolution of 0.1mm is advised.
