I'm deeply influenced by Jonix's groundbreaking NEMA17 replacement design. When fabricating parts for my ToyREP project, I had a profound realization - this innovative solution can also be adapted to suit the needs of an M5 nut. Regrettably, I'm not naturally adept at navigating SketchUp, but I managed to find a workaround by utilizing it to recreate the M5 version. The result is a more polished design. Update: Building upon my original design, I've reworked it further and added an M8 coupler, as Jonix inadvertently omitted this feature from his creation.
