I design Shim that accommodates use of 31.8 mm clamp FDs on seat tubes with 28.6 mm diameters, without braze-ons. Updates 15 Jan 17: Successfully printed it for the first time. The curvature is slightly too small when you test fit without pressing them onto a 28.6 mm seat tube, but when compressed together they fit perfectly. I believe they'll perform well, though I didn't try mounting a front derailleur yet.
