This snap-together gearset, with a 27:1 reduction ratio, is inspired by a Thingiverse design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7379). The gears were created using a script from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3575). A significant advantage of this printable design is that it requires no fasteners, nuts or bolts. To assemble, print 3 copies of gears.stl, 2 of brace.stl and one each of the other parts (excluding fullassembly.stl, which is just a render). Simply snap together for easy assembly. However, please do not print this thing anymore; check out variations by tbuser (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9454) and makerblock (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9460) instead.
