25mm to XXmm Base Expanders

To Repurpose or Not to Repurpose... I have one major gripe with gluing a smaller base onto a larger base - it just doesn't look right, even when you add scenic elements to cover up the old base. Adding extra height changes the line of sight by 3.5mm, and shortens cover saves by the same amount - an ironic twist. However, if you've accumulated a stash of older 25mm bases like I have, repurposing them is definitely worth considering. My collection currently sits at around 400 pieces, but I can still reuse them as needed to expand my slightly larger base size. This setup also gives my front-heavy metal models a more stable base dimension - and who doesn't love that? The interior of these bases are beveled to fit perfectly onto the standard/GW/Citadel beveled bases. Each print requires two attempts, taking anywhere from 4-8 minutes depending on your printer settings. They can be printed without any additional supports needed. What I like most is how they snuggly fit around the existing base of a model to expand it to either 32mm or 40mm - a beautiful transformation! A small, partially open (hit) marker ring is included for all those 25mm bases that need a bit more attention.
