It appears that solid bars possess slightly smaller threaded diameters than dumbbells. Although the difference is minute, it's significant enough to render my original turnbuckle a safety risk when utilized on larger bar weights. Consequently, I'm releasing a sturdier, bulkier turnbuckle specifically designed for solid bar bells. Please measure your effective diameter prior to printing. File: Bar_Bell_Nut Effective pitch: 7mm Rod diameter: 23.8mm Making this turnbuckle nut was quite challenging due to its non-metric and non-American standard size. File: Dumb_Bell_Nut Effective pitch: 7mm Rod diameter: 25mm or 1 inch It slides in snugly but will easily tighten. Printer settings: - PLA - .3 layer height - bridges (utilize bridges if you want these more snug than necessary) - 45% infill (the weights will crush this thing, so avoid making it weak!)
