This is a crucial component for securing a 25mm diameter cylinder in place. Both parts are essential to the overall design. In order to accommodate metric conversions, you may need to scale the parts by 25.4, which will yield accurate measurements in millimeters. The hole is slightly undersized, resulting in a snug fit that enables the U-shaped piece to securely fasten onto a board, effectively converting the mount into a sturdy shaft collar capable of gripping both motors and shafts firmly. This configuration can withstand low load conditions but may not be suitable for high torque applications. Careful attention should be paid to the mounting holes, which are precision-drilled with 1/4" clearance holes spaced 2" apart, allowing for easy installation and secure fastening of the motor or shaft in place.
