25mm Calibration Cube Lid
thingiverse
I printed a few of the cubes during setup and testing, and they just sat there until I decided to modify my printer. All of the OEM screws ended up in the cubes, so I created a new file with a lid for them. I print the lids as needed with short print times for quick tests. Typically, I print top down facing the bed, but it can be flipped to test overhangs as well. After printing, I usually need to clean the edge just a little bit with sandpaper or a knife, and the first snap in is very tight. Once that happens, it opens and closes fairly easily. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Notes: I use a Monoprice Maker Select, but there's no option for that one. The same settings apply as the Wanhao. I used PLA at 210C extruder and 60C bed, but I'll vary the filament and printer manufacturer. So far, I haven't tested other materials yet.
