25mm (across flat) Hexbase with 3mm hole

Designed as a spaceship base for a wargame, this hexagon is just 25mm across the flat side. Use it, abuse it, have fun with it within licensing terms - don't sell it for profit, but printing some for friends is fine. Printer Settings: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: Don't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2 to .1 mm Infill: 30% to 80% Notes: These prints are straightforward and work well with ABS or PLA settings. I printed in ABS, but they should be compatible with any 3D print material. Post-Printing: Remove rafts carefully and sand or scrape sharp edges if needed. Designing This Base My dad and I love wargaming. When designing this base, we came up with an idea that showed how easy it is to use FreeCAD for quick game bases with chambered surfaces. FreeCAD files are included for modification, as v. 0.16. I'm impressed by the features in this free 3D CAD program. Even a Solidworks/AutoCAD user like myself can appreciate its potential. Every wargamer needs a RepRap 3D printer or one based on it - even if not printing miniatures, making bases is easy. Printing others' designs is also simple. As with my other designs, I've printed and tested this one personally. It works as intended due to its straightforward geometry.
