One planter requires only 31 grams of PLA filament (with recommended print settings), making it an extremely efficient system. The modular design lets you arrange your vertical garden in any column or row configuration to suit your space. Repurpose old cans that would otherwise end up in landfills and reduce plastic waste and fertilizer usage associated with store-bought greens. Grow your own organic herbs, greens, and air-filtering house plants, or decorative flowers and foliage! Print Settings: One hanger can support a column of up to 8 planters. For more than 8 planters per column, increase the wall thickness and infill percentage. Designed for PLA filament but compatible with other types as well. Use an elevated extruder temperature (230 degrees works great) for improved layer adhesion. Print thick exterior walls (4 layers work well) to enhance strength. Increase layer height (350 microns works great) for added durability. Use 30% in-fill for optimal results. No support material or rafts are required. Simply slice and print as-is! Instructions: Remove the top of a 250ml can with a can opener. Clean up the edges with scissors. Use a lip protector (optional) to protect against sharp edges or burrs, securing it with superglue if needed. Print one hanger for each column and as many planters as desired using recommended settings.
