Here is my latest design of a 250 quadcopter. I've decoupled the camera side from the motor side as much as possible to minimize jelloing. This appears necessary due to the hobbyking Baby Beast brushless motors, which produce significant vibrations, and I've opted for a wooden frame for this project. The build video is available at http://youtu.be/2iIHp7ocvd4. Additionally, you can view footage of one of the first flights by visiting http://youtu.be/Y3LKt2j9npY. The CAD model was designed using Creo Elements Express 6, a free CAD program from PTC. Instructions to replicate my quadcopter are as follows: Obtain the following components: 4x Baby Beast 2206 2150kv motors from hobbyking 4x Afro 12 amp ESCs also from hobbyking A NAZE32 flashed with Cleanflight software by hobbyking A Mini CMOS FPV camera 520TVL, again sourced from hobbyking A Video transmitter (TBS) A Mobius camera A 5030 propeller from hobbyking A Receiver Various M3 bolts Vibration damping balls (100g) by hobbyking Lipo battery of 1500 mah with a voltage rating of 3S The construction involves laser cutting the following components: Cut out a base plate made of 6 mm poplar plywood. Prepare remaining plates from 2 mm birch plywood.
