A Cohort of eight 32mm Sci-Fi Roman models armed with gladius and autoguns for the tabletop. Each of the eight members of the squad has a unique pose and includes one captain/leader. These models are fully pre-supported.Hastus Line Cohorts, as their name suggests, are the frontline unit of the new Roman army. These units of warriors are the mainstay of each of the Legions. When first deployed within the forces of unity the Legionaries became the premier Heavy Infantry across Terra. Each Legion, especially in their nascent days, consisted of nothing more than the Hastus Line Cohorts, no specialist units had yet been formed nor had Legion Commanders had enough time with their forces to truly shape them. After the pacification of the Mon-Gal tribes the Roman forces were equipped with a standardised close combat weapon, the Spatha, which became synonymous with the bloody assaults of its Legions. During the early campaigns they were equipped with slip-shod armour, chainmail, hardened leathers and basic cuirasses.
