24V Heatbed upgrade for the K8200 (New power supply 15V/24V)
thingiverse
This text is about an upgrade of the power supply for a K8200 3D printer. The user thanks edirol and others from the Velleman forum for their assistance. A schematic shows how to switch 24V for the heatbed with the original 15V connector, as well as controlling the light and cooling fan of the power supply. The monoflop used is retriggerable, so the light and fan will start with the heatbed and stop a minute after it's turned off. Power supplies were ordered from Reichelt.de (MEANWELL 24V/4.5A/100W and 15V/6.7A/100W). Printing filter38.stl and blende32.stl with 0 solid layer on top and bottom, and 25% filling creates an air filter for the fan on the backside (40x40x20mm, 24V). Two switches from Marquart control light and fan operation. An EMC-shielded power entry module from Schurter is used for the 230V connector, and a SUB-D-25 connector connects to the printer. The case's interior splits space between the 230V (LN) and 24V parts. A part list is provided, excluding PCB components, and the user encourages sharing photos of the completed part.
