24byj48 Turn Table / Rotary Table
thingiverse
I want to showcase something on a stable platform, allowing me to capture high-quality photos or videos, even with the help of a 3D scanner. Therefore, I can use cheap 24BYJ stepper motors and rolling bearings in this setup. I have some 24BYJ motors and 695 rolling bearings available. So, I decided to create a turntable without any additional metal components. As you can see, there are only two 3D printed parts in this project. Then, four 695 rolling bearings, one 24BYJ motor, and a driver are required. I used four PNPs to drive the 24BYJ motors, and an STC microcontroller chip to provide some movement control. Four 1K resistors connect between the 51 IO and the base of the PNP, while two keys give rotation control. In my project, pressing one key causes another to roll in its original direction, resulting in a total of two-key rotation solution.
