24 port keystone box
thingiverse
I loved the design by registeredthing, but I needed more ports. Thankfully he provided a STEP file that allowed me to make modifications. I extended the sides of the box to add 8 additional ports while keeping it securely mounted on a 2-gang wall plate. To accommodate more cables coming out of the keystones, I increased the internal clearance by 10mm. I haven't printed the design yet, but I have no reason to believe it won't work as expected. The modifications I made should ensure smooth operation once it's printed. Edit: After reviewing registeredthing's comments and my own printing experience, I decided to make some additional changes. I extended the space between the keystones and the box's outside wall by 5mm on every side to prevent interference with the screw posts and keystones. To provide extra room for cables, I added 5mm to the depth of the box. The angles on the sides are now flattened out, making the design slightly less visually appealing but much easier to print.
