24 oz Takeya Handle
thingiverse
I wanted a handle for my bottle, but couldn't find one to buy. After getting a 3D printer, I looked for a design to print, and when I couldn't find one, I decided to create my own. This is the result of that effort. The edges are sharp, so I sanded mine to be rounded. It's possible to include this in the design; maybe I'll add it at some point. For now, I'm sharing what I came up with, hoping someone else will find it useful if they're looking for a similar handle. If you need a tighter fitment around the bottle, try printing the handle part with less than 100% ratio on the Z axis. This might give you the snugness you're looking for. I used 1/4-20 pan head bolts with standard nuts. I'm not sure of the length since I used a grinder to size them to my needs. V2 UPDATE: I've updated the design of the clamp, making it stronger and more reliable. * I added material in the corner of the clamp for added strength. * I increased the width of the ends of the clamp to make it even stronger. * The new design still works with the handle file.
